Fiscal Year 2017, All Japan Kendo Federation donate Kendo equipment to the following 8 of countries/regions.

Portugal, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Tunisia, Chile, Slovakia, Mongolia

The purpose of this activity is to promote Kendo in foreign countries where it is difficult to buy Kendo equipment or where Kendo was introduced recently. 

The equipment sent includes Men, Do, Kote, Tare, Shinai and so on.  Some are new and some are used ones that were presented from individuals or schools in Japan.  Basically the Kendo equipment is presented to the Kendo organizations of those countries/regions and not to individuals or individual Dojos.  ( In case of an FIK affiliate, the Kendo equipment is donated to the FIK affiliated organization. )

The Kendo equipment will be donated to the Kendo organizations through the Japanese Embassy/Consulate.
We hope that the Kendo equipment will be utilized in those countries/regions and this activity of AJKF helps them to promote Kendo.

All Japan Kendo Federation has presented Kendo equipment to a lot of countries every year since 1990. 

The purpose of this activity is to promote Kendo in foreign countries where it is difficult to buy Kendo equipment or where Kendo is newly introduced. 

The equipment sent includes Men, Do, Kote, Shinai, Kendo-gu bags and so on.  Some are new and some are used that are presented from individuals or schools in Japan.  AJKF chooses approximately 10 countries/regions every year and send the Kendo-gu to the representing organization of that country/region. 

The following is the list of the countries to which the equipment was sent in 2001.
